Hsin Chong Aster has enjoyed a run of good news lately. In July, the Hong Kong Housing Society awarded it a nominated sub-contract for one of its Urban Renewal Projects situated at Castle Peak Road / Hing Wah Street / Un Chau Street in Sham Shui Po. The project involves the development of about 350 residential flats and about 3,900 square meters of commercial space, for which Aster will undertake electrical, ELV and MVAC installation works. This was followed by another contract received in September for the design, supply and installation of the E&M system for a proposed pharmaceutical manufacturing factory in Tai Po.
Earlier on, Hsin Chong Aster also won two electrical and mechanical contracts, one of which covers HVAC, a plumbing and drainage system and steam installation for the design and construction of a new hospital in Tin Shui Wai. The other one is for in-situ wholesale conversion of the General Garment Building in Kwai Chung into a commercial office with café and restaurant. Under this contract, Hsin Chong Aster will supply and install new E&M services including a 1,800 ton water cooling chiller system, a building management system, a low voltage electrical power supply plant, an ELV system and fire services under BEAM Plus requirements.
