La Viva, the Group’s first large-scale integrated development project in the Chinese Mainland, is currently in good progress. This new landmark is situated in Tieling, northeastern China.
On 22 May, a number of government officials visited La Viva. The group inspected the construction site and the project’s overall positioning, and its future development won their good acclaim. They also recognised La Viva as one of the signature projects in Tieling, and they believe the project will boost the economic development and increase employment opportunities in the region, plus help facilitating the growth of industries such as commerce and tourism. The government officials were looking forward to the completion and the opening of the project.
La Viva includes a year-round water park, Aqua Wave Water Park, which contains the world’s first Topsy-Turvy Explosion combination slide, and five other high-speed turning and vertical slides. It offers China’s first Snorkel Pool, Double Flow Rider, and magnificent water shows. The water park journey will begin in this summer. Currently it is at the interior and exterior outfitting stage, and all the facilities and equipment are being installed. Moreover, the Group has also started preparing for its operation, 30 lifeguards and a number of frontline customer service staff are being trained at this stage.
In recognition of the region’s rapid expansion on development, the government has supported the extension of many public transportation routes to La Viva, and set up the intersection hub within the project, which will be benefited for the residents, and covered the needs of both residential and commercial development.
A recruitment fair was held at the Tieling Employment Bureau on 23 and 24 May, and resulted in a flurry of interest. Nearly 1,000 visitors came from Shenyang, Tieling, and other cities in the region, finally over 100 interviewees became new members of the La Viva team.
